My work is my tool to honestly express my need to find structure, stability, and control in a world where I have so little. The work I create consists of a series of precise geometric structures, each uniquely planned.  The fragility of my work requires control and extreme patience. My process gives me the opportunity to focus solely on myself and the piece I am creating. With each piece I explore connections within myself, the people around me, and the work itself. I seek to find control and stability in the structures I create. Positive and negative space contrasts the lack of control I have in the world and the total control I have in my work. Therefore the work I am creating is about the clarity I find in the process and not the final piece.
